The Medical Specialty Center offers services for outpatients with the need or desire to receive mental health treatment. Our focus is on ability and concern for the total well-being of those whose mental illness or behavioral problems limit their ability to live their lives to their fullest potential. We also offer the same services to those who are interested in learning new coping skills and ways of dealing with everyday stressful situations. We strive to build trusting, respectful and attentive relationships that define practical goals and plans.

Services include medical referrals for medication, individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Services are provided to all age ranges (children to geriatric).

Psychotropic medications are prescribed and managed by the medical doctors and physician assistants in our Medical Specialty Center.

Psychotherapy services are offered by California State Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Kirsten Storne-Piazza. Kirsten has been a Social Worker at Orchard Hospital for 15 years. After completing a Master’s Degree, 3000 clinical hours and two California state examinations, she became licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist in 2011 by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences.

The Outpatient Clinic is open Monday through Saturday and accepts most insurance plans.
